Within the framework of the RE-ACT Schools Project – “Transformation of Schoolyards to Combat Climate Change Effects and Promote Healthy and Active Environments”, Mamen Artero delivered a presentation focused on the reasons and methods for re-naturalising schools.
📅 The presentation was delivered on 20 November 2025 in Mataró, during the thematic workshop sessions of the 2nd Interregional Thematic Workshop.
💡 Mamen explored how nature can be integrated into school spaces as both a climate-adaptation strategy and a pedagogical tool. She shared experiences from Playgrounds for Climate, presenting transformation processes, benefits, challenges and lessons learned from real projects.
